Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of patients using the nursing process, therapeutic interventions, and evidence-based practice. Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation and collaboration while managing time, supplies, and resources to coordinate patient care delivery. Provide accurate and timely documentation, maintain legal and ethical standards, and revise care plans based on patient response and clinical outcomes. Work the 12-hour night shift at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, requiring manual dexterity for equipment manipulation and physical ability to transfer patients. BSN required as of 4/27/2025; BLS certification mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified

- Experience with Bipap, heated Hi Flow and DKA patients
