Job Summary
Provide care for post-operative patients recovering from anesthesia, monitoring vital signs to determine necessary care and providing continuous reassessment and intervention if needed. Administer medications in accordance with physician instructions while treating patients according to their specific needs. Maintain and review patients' records including posting tests and examination results. Direct and communicate with patients and their families regarding medications and treatment instructions. Work full-time in the PACU at Roxbury Surgery Center, located in Beverly Hills, with a focus on women's health and fertility services.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered California RN license
- Experience in the ICU or ER
- Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Ability to think critically and act with a strong sense of urgency
- Ability to make confident decisions in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Ability to communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Caring and compassionate bedside manner
