Job Summary
Deliver nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) with direct and indirect patient care in the Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, or Step Down units. Communicate with physicians about changes in patients' clinical conditions and diagnostic results. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment response. Perform general nursing duties in all departments with supervision and participate in CQI/performance improvement activities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an approved nursing educational program as defined by the NCSBN
- Current State (FL) Registered Nurse Licensure
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
- successful completion of telemetry course or telemetry experience
- background check and drug test clearance
