Registered Nurse- 5th floor PT

Provide professional nursing care for inpatients on the 5th floor in an acute hospital setting, applying the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care; demonstrate knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan, assess and interpret patient data to address age-specific needs, and deliver education based on patient learning needs. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, handoff tools, evidence-based practice, ANA code of ethics, culturally sensitive care, and collaboration with the interprofessional team; participate in the CAPE clinical ladder program with specified levels and competencies, and work weekend shifts with a 24-hour weekly schedule in a non-exempt capacity.
