Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) delivering integrated physical and behavioral health care. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive nursing assessments, administering psychiatric medications (including injections), coordinating referrals (internal and external), educating clients and families on diagnoses, medications, and treatment options, and ensuring smooth care transitions. Works with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, maintains documentation in the EHR, and provides clinical oversight and guidance to LPNs. Requires 2+ years of nursing experience, an active KY RN license, BLS/CPR certification, and trauma-informed care knowledge. May involve travel to partner sites or client locations; must be able to work evenings/weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelors Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky or Compact State
- BLS/CPR certification
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; behavioral health/psychiatric/community health/case management experience preferred
- Knowledge of trauma-informed and recovery-oriented care practices
- Proficiency in EHR systems and referral tracking software
