Job Summary
Complete initial assessments and histories for all clients entering treatment, strategically evaluating current conditions through clinical judgment, referrals, and physician consultation. Educate clients and families regarding symptoms, medications, and side effects while maintaining a trauma-informed approach. Collaborate with internal multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate client care and document all interactions within the electronic medical record. Work full-time, 40-hour Monday through Thursday shifts in 10-hour days as part of ReDiscover's Medication Services Program, supporting individuals impacted by mental illness or substance use in southeastern Jackson County, Missouri.
Required Qualifications
- Availability to work a Full-Time, 40-Hours - Monday to Thursday - 10-Hour Days
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Active Missouri license as a Registered Nurse (or the ability to practice as an RN in the state of Missouri)
Desired Qualifications
- At least two (2) years clinical experience in a direct service provision in a mental health setting preferred
- Knowledge of the community resources as well as health and social service systems in the Kansas City metro area and skill in establishing working relationships with community partners preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus
- Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as use of email
