Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for Med Surg Uro-GYN units using the nursing process. Interact effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team while ensuring quality care through efficient resource use. Evaluate nursing intervention outcomes against evidence-based standards and make decisions in the patient's best interest within Virginia nursing practice standards. Maintain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Virginia or compact state
- BLS certification within 90 days
Desired Qualifications
- BSN
- Minimum of 1 year experience in acute care setting
