Job Summary
Conduct medical history and physical assessments to promote health and prevent illness among workers. Provide education and guidance on communicable diseases and wellness initiatives while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and recovery. Respond quickly to incidents and emergencies to provide first aid, CPR, and other emergency care as needed. Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and ethical practice during all interactions. Perform physical duties including walking unassisted through the plant, climbing stairs, and assessing team members swiftly. Monday through Thursday, 5pm to 3pm.
Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Must be able to walk unassisted through the plant
- Must be able to quickly respond to medical emergencies
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to assess team members swiftly
- Must be able to perform CPR if required
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to get along with others
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer skills
- Comfort with electronic medical documentation
- Must be able to walk unassisted through the plant, quickly respond to medical emergencies, climb stairs, assess team members swiftly, and perform CPR if required; ensure team members and supervisors are following prescribed modified restricted duty requirements
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of nursing experience
- Occupational Health experience
- LPN experience
- BSN degree
