Registered Nurse - 2E: Med Surg/ Ortho (FLEXI)

Provide excellent, clinically competent patient care by utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Complete comprehensive nursing assessments, administer medications, and safely verify orders while evaluating outcomes against evidenced-based interventions. Plan, provide, and document individual patient teaching, initiate discharge plans, and reprioritize work based on patient needs and available resources. Consult with the Clinical Coordinator and Charge Nurse regarding unit activities, supervise LPNs and UAPs when assigned, and actively solicit feedback from patients and visitors. Demonstrate consistent ability in responding to emergency situations, adhering to infection control guidelines, and participating in quality improvement activities. Work 12-hour shifts with flexible scheduling; preferred BSN and minimum one year acute care experience required.
