Job Summary
Critical Care Transport Nurses provide Basic and Advanced Life Support during high-risk ambulance transports, working alongside EMTs to care for patients requiring cardiac/respiratory monitoring, IV medications, and ventilators. The role emphasizes patient advocacy, adherence to treatment protocols, and collaboration with the CCT Manager to ensure continuous service amid fast-paced, high-acuity transports; requires strong clinical skills in pediatric or adult SCT transports and relevant critical care experience.
Required Qualifications
- California State Registered Nurse (unrestricted licensure)
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- AHA PALS
- NIH Stroke Scale (Within 90 days of hire)
- Emergency Room Critical Care or ICU: 2 years (Required)
- Two years of experience in a critical care environment (ER, ICU) in a large tertiary care facility that provides high acuity patients with a wide range of diagnoses.
