Job Summary
Assess assigned patients, evaluate care plans, and document nursing responses to symptoms and vital sign changes. Modify treatment protocols based on patient conditions and physician orders while reviewing diagnostic tests to monitor status. Consult with physicians and healthcare professionals to implement care plans, administer medications safely, and operate medical equipment. Prioritize assignments to deliver superior patient care, assist with examinations and procedures, and support discharge planning. Provide psychological support and cultural considerations during treatments, ensuring accurate medication records and timely communication with families and teams. Serve as a preceptor to assist new staff in acclimating to the clinical environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Valid State of Florida RN license
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Learning Agility: Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and protocols, and adapt to changing priorities and work demands
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a team environment
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using office software, technology, and relevant computer applications
- Communication: Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting with colleagues and stakeholders
