Job Summary
Assess assigned patients, evaluate care plans, and document nursing responses while reporting vital sign changes. Review diagnostic tests, consult physicians to modify treatment plans, and safely administer medications within scope of practice. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, adapting care to age and culture while providing psychological support. Communicate care plans to patients, families, and team members to ensure regulatory compliance and facilitate discharge planning. Prioritize assignments, operate medical equipment, and serve as a preceptor for new staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Valid State of Florida RN license
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Learning Agility: Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and protocols, and adapt to changing priorities and work demands
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a team environment
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using office software, technology, and relevant computer applications
- Communication: Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting with colleagues and stakeholders
