Review diagnostic tests, consult with physicians and healthcare professionals, and prepare patients for examinations and procedures while providing psychological support. Administer medications safely, maintain accurate records, and communicate care plans to patients, families, and team members ensuring HIPAA compliance. Use available resources for discharge planning, prioritize assignments, and safely operate medical equipment. Serve as a preceptor to assist new staff in acclimating to the healthcare environment.
