Job Summary
Assess assigned patients, evaluate care plans, and modify treatment protocols based on patient responses and physician orders. Report vital signs, symptoms, and diagnostic test results while consulting with healthcare professionals to implement comprehensive care plans. Administer medications safely, operate medical equipment, and assist with examinations and procedures tailored to patient age and culture. Provide psychological support, communicate discharge plans, and serve as a preceptor to mentor new staff. Maintain accurate medication and treatment records in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Bachelor of Science in nursing
- Registered Nurse License
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
