Job Summary
Assess assigned patients, evaluate treatment plans, and document nursing care while reporting vital sign changes and symptoms. Modify plans based on patient responses and consult with physicians to implement care strategies. Administer chemotherapy medications safely, prepare patients for procedures, and maintain accurate treatment records per regulatory guidelines. Prioritize assignments, operate medical equipment, and serve as a preceptor to assist new staff in acclimating to the healthcare environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Florida Registered Nurse License
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate (ONS)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
