Job Summary
Assess patients with behavioral health and psychiatric conditions and develop individualized nursing care plans. Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions while monitoring patient conditions and documenting care in the EMR. Respond to psychiatric crises using de-escalation techniques, facilitate therapeutic groups, and educate patients and families on diagnoses and coping strategies. Implement seclusion and restraint procedures when clinically indicated and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote patient safety and recovery. Full-time night shifts (7p–7:30a) with a $10,000 sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates. Required Qualifications
- current and valid State license as a Registered Nurse
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Working knowledge of Mental Health Laws and practice standards
- Working knowledge of interdisciplinary treatment team process, behavioral health programming and daily nursing functions for inpatient and outpatient behavioral health units
- Working knowledge of the continuum of care for behavioral health care
