Job Summary
Assess patients with behavioral health and psychiatric conditions and develop individualized nursing care plans. Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions while monitoring patient status and documenting care in the EMR. Respond to psychiatric crises using de-escalation techniques, facilitate therapeutic groups, and implement seclusion or restraint procedures per policy. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and discharge planning. Work full-time nights (7p-7:30a) in the Adult Intensive Unit for males, earning $35.35 to $53.58 hourly with a $10,000 sign-on bonus available. Required Qualifications
- current and valid State license as a Registered Nurse
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Working knowledge of Mental Health Laws and practice standards
- Working knowledge of interdisciplinary treatment team process, behavioral health programming and daily nursing functions for inpatient and outpatient behavioral health units
- Working knowledge of the continuum of care for behavioral health care
