Job Summary
Monitor client health and manage health issues by administering medications, observing reactions, and documenting treatments in charts. Provide nursing care to admitted clients, including sick calls and injuries, while assisting with psychological reviews and scheduling appointments. Respond promptly to on-call duty rotations for immediate services and provide hepatitis B or flu vaccines to staff. Conduct training on medication administration and promote communicable disease control. Participate in Multidisciplinary Team meetings to provide the medical perspective and serve as backup for nurses at other Grafton locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Valid RN License from the State Board of Nursing
- 1 - 2 years of experience providing nursing services
- Thorough knowledge of practical nursing techniques
- Computer proficiency
- Strong communication skills
- Valid state drivers' license
