Job Summary
Assess assigned patients, evaluate care plans, and document nursing interventions while reporting vital sign changes and symptoms. Modify treatment plans based on patient responses and physician orders, reviewing diagnostic tests to assess condition. Consult with physicians and healthcare professionals to implement care plans, prepare patients for procedures, and administer medications safely. Provide psychological support, maintain accurate medication records, and communicate the plan of care to patients, families, and team members. Use available resources for discharge planning and adapt assignments to render superior patient care while adhering to unit policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Valid State of Florida RN license
- Learning Agility: Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and protocols, and adapt to changing priorities and work demands
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a team environment
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using office software, technology, and relevant computer applications
- Communication: Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting with colleagues and stakeholders
