Registered Mobile Crisis Clinician

Direct crisis intervention and crisis management services as part of the CATT Clinician team serving Alameda County. Respond to calls, evaluate and determine disposition, and facilitate transfer to appropriate resources in collaboration with EMT, law enforcement, psychiatric prescribers, and hospital staff. Apply Roberts’ Seven-Stage Crisis Intervention Model (SSCIT) and evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma-informed care, Solution Focused Therapy, and mindfulness techniques; provide linkage to local community resources. Maintain documentation consistent with agency and accreditation standards; perform Medi-Cal/Medicare billing and after-care follow-up; participate in clinical meetings, trainings, and community outreach. Requires registration with CA BBS (ASW, AMFT, APCC) and at least two years of relevant experience; must be willing to travel within Alameda County, lift/light physical activities as needed, and work varied 12-hour shifts (Sunday–Wednesday schedule) with travel between agency sites. Proficiency with EHR systems (Welligent, Clinicians Gateway, Reddinet, Epic) and compliance with HIPAA/PHI/PII are mandatory; valid CA driver’s license required. EEO policy in place.
