Job Summary
Conduct personalised care throughout the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal journey across antenatal clinics, maternity wards, birth suites, and the Special Care Nursery. Assess plans, deliver, and evaluate patient care while promoting effective communication and facilitating teamwork within the hospital. Provide patient education, act as a resource, and support or supervise staff and students as required. Contribute to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives. Work across Monday to Sunday shifts in a supportive, family-centred maternity team committed to exceptional care.
Required Qualifications
- Registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse Midwife or Registered Midwife
- Demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction
- Well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional development
- Vaccination from Influenza
