Job Summary
Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to patients throughout their recovery journey at Priory Hospital Preston. Complete assessments, care plans, risk assessments, and clinical documentation while administering medication safely and monitoring physical and mental health. Work closely with the multidisciplinary team, patients, and families to support treatment plans and positive outcomes, responding appropriately to changes in patient presentation. Support patients with therapeutic interventions, daily activities, and recovery goals within a safe, supportive ward environment for acute mental health needs and eating disorders. Full-time role with 37.5 hours per week, located in Bartle near Preston.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC registration
- Experience of delivering safe, person-centred care within a mental health setting
- Good understanding of risk assessment, care planning and medication management
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and maintaining high standards of patient care

- Experience working within a hospital or inpatient mental health environment
- Experience supporting patients with complex mental health needs
- Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of recovery-focused and therapeutic approaches
