Job Summary
Assess and monitor patients' mental health status, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Develop, implement, and evaluate personalised care plans in collaboration with patients and multidisciplinary teams. Administer prescribed medications accurately, observe effects, and report adverse reactions. Provide emotional support and counselling, document progress and incidents per organisational policies, and promote a safe environment through safeguarding and infection control protocols. Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and coping strategies. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development activities. This role supports adults with complex needs including trauma, personality disorders, and psychosis in the Peterborough community, requiring female applicants with right to work in the UK and driving license.
Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in patient care within a mental health setting
- Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to mental health nursing practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate approach with a genuine desire to support individuals through their recovery journey
