Job Summary
Provide supervised outpatient psychotherapy services to adults with anxiety, depression, trauma, and mood disorders via in-person and telehealth appointments. Conduct clinical assessments, gather patient information, and support individualized treatment plan development. Complete accurate clinical documentation including progress notes and treatment updates while maintaining HIPAA and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with multidisciplinary behavioral health teams to ensure coordinated care and positive patient outcomes. Apply evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, and ACT under clinical supervision. Participate in individual and group supervision, clinical meetings, and case consultations to strengthen competency. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives by providing clinical feedback and supporting workflow enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) registration with the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling
- Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, or related clinical field
- Completion of required graduate coursework and clinical internship requirements for registered intern status
- Ability to complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to receive clinical supervision, apply feedback, and continue developing clinical competencies
- Ability to manage assigned patient caseload responsibilities while maintaining quality patient care standards
- Commitment to ethical, compassionate, and patient-centered mental health care
Desired Qualifications
- Experience providing counseling services through graduate training, internship, or supervised clinical experience
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and clinical treatment practices
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Experience working in outpatient behavioral health, psychiatry, interventional psychiatry, or clinical research environments
