Job Summary
Monitor and safely deliver the Medication Management Program by administering and accurately recording medications for residents as prescribed. Observe ingestion, document adverse reactions, and report complications to the Resident Care Director to ensure resident safety. Store medications securely, maintain accurate inventories, and handle controlled substances with proper shift counting and reporting. Obtain and record vital signs, document refusals, and perform routine equipment inspections to uphold infection control standards. Assist in maintaining a safe environment and provide verbal encouragement to residents while adhering to all state regulatory policies. This part-time role operates on the second shift (2:45pm–11:15pm) with flexible weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- Successfully completed course work and examinations to obtain certification as a Resident Care Associate
- Obtain continuing education credits as required by the state to maintain certification as an RMA
- Possess knowledge of safe medication administration techniques
- Demonstrate knowledge of safe medication administration techniques through a competency skills evaluation
- CPR and First Aid certified or willing to obtain as per company policy
- Understand and practice resident confidentiality
- Have the ability to work weekends and flexible hours as needed for resident care and services
- Show sincere compassion and demonstrate genuine concern for the physical and emotional needs of seniors and their families
- Be proficient in basic office equipment, including a personal computer, for the purpose of accomplishing and maintaining a high level of job performance

- Be able to lift, stoop, carry, turn, and assist high-risk residents
- Be able to push medication carts
- Be willing and able to work a flexible work schedule
- Be able to sit, stand, bend, and move continuously during work hours
- Be able to lift and/or carry 50 to 75 pounds
