Job Summary
Dispense oral, inhalation, and topical medications to patients under direct nurse supervision while calculating dosages and stocking the medication cart. Observe clients for drug reactions, record administration per agency procedure, and assist with vital signs and care needs. Recognize tasks according to education and training levels, maintaining ethical, legal, and caring standards to ensure client comfort and welfare. Protect confidential information and follow federal, state, and agency regulations while seeking guidance as needed. Work alternating overnight shifts from 7pm to 7am with every other weekend required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be registered with the state as a Registered Medication Aide
- Must pass state background check and drug screening
- CPR/BLS, First Aid, TB, RMA certification
- Must have experience
- 2 Overnight RMA's 7pm-7am willing to wok an alternating schedule
- Every other weekend is REQUIRED
