Job Summary
Perform a variety of qualitative and quantitative laboratory tests, both manual and automated, to support disease diagnosis and treatment. Analyze patient samples, verify quality control values, and document all activities while maintaining workplace cleanliness. Execute calibration procedures, perform routine instrument maintenance, and complete computer data entry and retrieval for Laboratory and Hospital Information Systems. Participate in assigned proficiency surveys, performance improvement activities, and mandatory continuing education programs. Comply with all regulatory, accreditation, and Wellstar Health System policies. Requires an associate degree and current MLT/MT certification with at least one year of CLIA-accredited laboratory experience.
