Job Summary
Shape the culture of a new children's home from day one, recruiting and leading a team of support workers while setting values aligned with national standards and Action for Children policy. Deliver high-quality, trauma-informed care that helps young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs build resilience, engage in education, and prepare to return home. Liaise closely with Ofsted and key stakeholders to ensure outstanding standards of safeguarding and regulation. Establish a safe, stable environment for children experiencing significant trauma, working within a permanent full-time 37-hour week in Nottinghamshire.
Required Qualifications
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management, (children/young people) or the equivalent, with a view to completing your Level 5 whilst in post (supported by us)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience of supervising a team within a children's home, residential short breaks, or children's services
- A strong understanding of EBD and relevant childcare legislation
