Job Summary
Perform high-quality breast imaging and DEXA scans according to ARRT, ACR, and MQSA guidelines. Operate breast imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images while applying radiation protection and patient safety principles. Assist the radiologist in invasive procedures, ensuring aseptic technique and consent, and correlate clinical history with procedures for provider review. Provide patient education, discharge instructions, and monitor conditions during examinations. Participate in department quality assessments and improvement plans. Schedule 40 weekly hours in days/afternoons at Perrysburg Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- Certification and Registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in Diagnostic Radiology
- 1 year experience as a registered mammography technologist

- Associate's from an ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) accredited institute
- Advanced modality registration in Mammography, ARRT
