Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nutritional care for adolescents and adults referred by clinicians in New Hanover and Brunswick Counties. Deliver education and counseling to patients on nutrition, healthy eating, and lifestyle changes while monitoring progress and adjusting nutritional plans as needed. Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate patient groups, develop educational materials, and provide training to staff on nutritional care. Participate in staff meetings to update on related issues and perform other duties as assigned during normal working hours.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited university with an approved internship or qualifying experience
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- State of North Carolina license as a licensed dietitian/nutritionist (LDN)
- One-Year experience as a clinical dietitian
