Job Summary
Assist Financial Advisors with customer service, trade placement, complex problem resolution, and marketing to increase member satisfaction and program efficiency. Maintain required licenses, complete continuing education, and perform discount brokerage functions while backing up the Investment Services Support Team. Provide the highest quality member experience for both internal and external members. Requires Monday through Friday hours from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and valid driver's license. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years' administrative assistant or member service experience
- Maintains Illinois Life/Health Insurance license and FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 and Series 66, or Series 7, 63, and 65 or Series 7, 63, and 66 licenses, and be able to complete continuing education/testing requirements as needed to maintain professional licenses
- Computer literacy required including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must possess a current, valid driver's license, an acceptable driving record, and personal vehicle insurance
- Must be fingerprinted and pass FINRA's background checks
- Must sign Broker-Dealer's Registered Representative Agreement including non-solicitation clauses
- Sales support experience in investment operations
- Professional experience in securities and/or insurance industries
- Knowledge of investment and retirement products
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems (i.e., Salesforce)
- Proven history of meeting or exceeding established sales, referral, and up-sale goals
- Establish community involvement through local events and professional organization
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus
