Job Summary

Oversee and manage geotechnical engineering and construction quality assurance projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and specifications. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, perform geotechnical analysis for soil and rock properties, and provide recommendations for foundation design, slope stability, and earth retention systems. Review project plans, approve design documents, and implement quality control measures while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions. Requires a Professional Engineer (PE) license, 4+ years of experience, and ability to work in field conditions including long-term standing and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • 4+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a focus on project management
  • Proficient in geotechnical analysis software and other relevant engineering tools
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations
  • Must be able to carry, lift and push/pull up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Must be able to walk over rough and uneven terrain and be able to stand up to 8 hours a day on occasion
  • Must have the ability to see, smell, hear, talk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel and twist, crouch, crawl, reach, grasp, sit, stand, and walk
