Job Summary
Troubleshoots and corrects recording instrument malfunctions or unusual patient problems that interfere with recordings; performs accurate and thorough echocardiograms including TEE, Stress Echo, Pharmacological Stress Echo, EKGs, Treadmills, and Holter monitors as ordered by physicians; maintains equipment calibration and records; prioritizes clinical and administrative tasks; engages in CQI and staff education; communicates results to the care team to support patient safety and outcomes; supports on-call coverage and adheres to department policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- American Registry for Diagnostic Sonography credentials required (RDCS OR RVS OR RCS OR RVT)
