Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE)

Guide, teach, and ensure the safety of infants through school-age children in Toronto (North York) centres. Fulfill the lead teacher's program and daily activities, or create and implement developmentally appropriate programs if no plan exists. Promote the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual well-being of children while providing supervision and complying with CCEYA, public health, and Sentient HR policies. Facilitate planned activities with children and maintain comprehensive documentation of their development and interactions. Report issues according to centre procedures and foster positive relationships through effective communication with peers and parents. On-the-job training and professional development opportunities are available. Three months of a public transit or gas card is provided for candidates working ten shifts or more per month.
