Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) - Pre-School Classroom

Provide the children with a "prepared environment" by making materials to support individual needs and plan activities to stimulate growth in social, emotional, and academic areas. Instruct children in Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, and Culture while encouraging independent work time and group collaboration. Identify and modify work to meet the needs of children with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs. Conduct parent/teacher interviews, establish cooperative relationships with parents and coworkers, and participate in school special activities. Manage daily care including diaper changing, toileting assistance, and maintaining classroom cleanliness. Follow health and safety protocols using observation forms, sanitary practices, medication forms, and environmental assessment tools. Ensure program compliance with Ministry standards such as CCEYA and CCMA. Perform other duties as assigned while maintaining professionalism and attending professional development courses. Participate in outdoor activities for at least two hours daily.
