Job Summary
Conduct full-time evening and Saturday early childhood education for toddlers and preschoolers, fostering a fun, safe, and busy learning space. Deliver instruction grounded in the How Does Learning Happen framework, The ELECT Document, and current CCEYA guidelines while maintaining strong team collaboration. Maintain current Vulnerable Sector Check, CPR, First Aid, WHMIS, Health & Safety, and AODA certifications. Work independently and as part of the team to support academic growth for students of all abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE)
- Extensive knowledge of HDLH
- Knowledge of The ELECT Document
- Knowledge of the current CCEYA
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check (within 6 months) or willingness to obtain one
- Current CPR/Standard First Aid certificate
- WHMIS Certificate
- Health & Safety Certificate
- AODA Certificate
- Strong and engaging skills
- Willingness to work independently
