Job Summary
The Registered Dietitian is responsible for providing nutritional care individually and as part of an interdisciplinary outpatient care team. The role includes educating patients, family, professional staff and students/interns; working under the Nutrition Department Outpatient Team Lead; assessing nutritional needs and making recommendations; documenting in the electronic medical record; teaching and presenting to medical staff and caregivers; handling clerical/office duties; and conducting presentations outside the hospital as required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications - Registered Dietitian
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics
- Registered Dietitian (RD)
- Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the State of Arkansas
- Completion of a dietetic internship
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Interviewing candidates with all levels of experience - Nutrition, LD & RD
Desired Qualifications

- Bachelor of Science in Nutrition/Dietetics

- Clinical/Outpatient nutrition experience (preferred)

- Master’s degree or Specialty Certification (preferred)
