Job Summary
Collaborate with the clinical team to provide comprehensive nutrition support for acute and long-term care residents. Apply current best practices in medical nutrition therapy while adhering to State and Federal regulatory guidelines, MDS standards, and Point Click Care systems. Maintain active RDN registration and utilize strong communication skills to serve residents in this faith-based nonprofit facility.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) registration through the Commission of Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association
- MS or BS degree plus completion of a dietetic internship program
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Long-Term Care
- Knowledge of current best practices in medical nutrition therapy
- Strong knowledge of State and Federal regulatory guidelines, MDS and standards impacting Clinical Nutrition department in Long-Term Care
- Excellent client services, organization and communication skills
- Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Point Click Care
