Job Summary
Registered Dietitian (RD) needed for Ontario Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in a skilled nursing facility. Responsibilities include conducting nutritional assessments, collaborating with medical staff to develop care plans, addressing individual dietary needs (skin health and weight management), overseeing nutritional supply procurement and meal-service standards, providing nutrition education to residents, families, and staff, updating diet orders and menus daily with the menu management software, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams while conducting regular audits to maintain care standards.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian with a degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
- Supervisory experience in healthcare settings
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations and EMR software
