Job Summary
Chief Clinical Dietitian (RD) at Oneida Center overseeing nutrition care for residents in Utica, NY, including assessing nutritional status, developing care plans, coordinating nutrition support and oral supplements with vendors, monitoring meal service and diet modifications, educating residents and staff, collaborating with the Speech-Language Pathologist for dysphagia, updating diet orders in EMR/menu software, supervising the dietary team, and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies; works with interdisciplinary team and conducts audits to maintain high quality nutrition care.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Dietitian
- Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
- Exceptional interpersonal & leadership skills
- Knowledge of applicable state and federal guidelines
- Computer literacy and proficiency with EMR software and computer-based menu systems
