Job Summary
Provide compassionate nutritional care and support to Long Term Care residents by addressing health problems through clinical nutrition treatment. Collaborate with facility clinical teams to deliver personalized nutrition plans, while conducting meal rounds, completing sanitation audits, and signing off on dietary menus. Complete necessary clinical assessments, chart within the EMR system, and attend meetings to discuss resident care and progress. Ensure quality standards are maintained across placements in Long Term Care facilities nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Registered Dietitian Eligible (RDE) with Verification Statement
- State licensure as required varies by state
- Strong communication skills
- Effective teamwork
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment
