Job Summary
Provide compassionate nutritional care to long-term care residents by addressing health problems through clinical treatment. Collaborate with facility clinical teams to deliver personalized nutrition plans, complete clinical assessments, and chart within the EMR system. Conduct meal rounds as needed, perform sanitation audits, and sign off on dietary menus to maintain quality standards. Attend meetings to discuss resident care and progress while ensuring the highest level of support.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Registered Dietitian Eligible (RDE) with Verification Statement
- State licensure as required varies by state
- Strong communication skills
- Effective teamwork
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment
