Job Summary
Registered Dietitian in White Plains, NY responsible for assessing and monitoring residents' nutritional status, developing care plans, coordinating nutrition support with vendors and department heads, ensuring diet modifications are followed in meal service, educating residents, families, and staff on nutrition concepts, evaluating care plans for effectiveness, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to adjust plans, working with Speech-Language Pathologist for dysphagia diets, reviewing menu changes for regulatory compliance, updating diet orders and menu changes in computer menu software daily, supervising the dietary team, and conducting routine quality audits to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Dietitian
- Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
- Exceptional interpersonal & leadership skills
- Knowledge of applicable state and federal guidelines
- Computer literacy and proficiency with EMR software and computer-based menu systems
