Job Summary
Registered Dietitian (RD) needed at Cooperstown Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. Responsibilities include assessing and monitoring residents' nutritional status, developing care plans, advising medical staff, coordinating procurement of nutrition support supplies, supervising the dietary team, auditing quality nutrition care, updating diet orders and menu changes in computer systems, educating residents/families/staff on nutrition concepts, and collaborating with the Speech-Language Pathologist to provide appropriate diets for residents with dysphagia. Must maintain compliance with regulations and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to review and adjust care plans. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and proficiency with EMR and menu software required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Dietitian
- Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
- Exceptional interpersonal & leadership skills
- Knowledge of applicable state and federal guidelines
- Computer literacy and proficiency with EMR software and computer-based menu systems
