Job Summary
Registered Dietitian (RD) needed at Cooperstown Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing with responsibilities including assessing residents’ nutritional status, developing care plans, implementing diet modifications, coordinating nutrition support purchases, monitoring meal service, educating residents and staff on nutrition concepts, reviewing care plans with an interdisciplinary team, coordinating dysphagia diets with Speech-Language Pathologist, ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory guidelines, updating diet orders in computer menu software, and supervising the dietary team to deliver high-quality nutrition care.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Dietitian
- Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
- Exceptional interpersonal & leadership skills
- Knowledge of applicable state and federal guidelines
- Computer literacy and proficiency with EMR software and computer-based menu systems
