Job Summary
Assess and monitor residents' nutritional status, develop care plans, educate residents/families/staff on nutrition and diet modification, coordinate procurement of nutrition supplies, supervise dietary team, ensure compliance with regulations and policies, update diet orders/menu changes in EMR, participate in weekly interdisciplinary team meetings, collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologist for dysphagia diets, perform audits to ensure high-quality nutrition care, and review menus for policy and guideline adherence.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Dietitian
- Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
- Exceptional interpersonal & leadership skills
- Knowledge of applicable state and federal guidelines
- Computer literacy and proficiency with EMR software and computer-based menu systems
