Job Summary
Assess, develop, and direct the overall nutrition plan of care for each guest while collaborating with guests and families to participate in care plan development. Continually study emerging trends and new research in dietetics to educate culinary staff on pertinent topics related to human nutrition and culinary service. Maintain current registration status in Michigan and demonstrate knowledge of dietary practices, procedures, and governing laws for nursing care facilities. This full-time role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, negotiable salary, and comprehensive benefits including medical with no deductible, dental, vision, and 401k matching.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition (must be accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics)
- Current registration status in Michigan. (Must be Registered Dietitian)
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide nutrition services appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents
- Knowledgeable of dietary practices and procedures as well the laws, regulations and guidelines governing dietary functions in nursing care facilities
- Full time position
