Job Summary
Provide individualized medical nutrition therapy and counseling to patients within Functional Medicine, the Center for Integrative and Lifestyle Medicine, and Executive Health. Conduct one-on-one nutrition counseling with emphasis on integrative and functional nutrition; develop personalized treatment plans based on medical history, needs, and health goals; write diet orders and assess nutritional status; coordinate with dietetic technicians; contribute to education programs for physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, students, and the public; participate in program development to market and expand departmental services; utilize motivational interviewing to support patient engagement and behavior change; maintain documentation and follow-up, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or a closely related field
- Active certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD)
- Maintain current licensure to practice Dietetics in the current state (LD)
- One year of experience as a Registered Dietitian in clinical nutrition OR successful completion of a Dietetic Internship Program
