Job Summary
PRN Registered Dietitian to provide backup for the full-time RD at Kroontje Health Care Center, coordinating nutritional care across assisted living, memory care, skilled care, and nursing-home settings. Responsibilities include completing initial nutritional assessments, monitoring evolving dietary needs, participating in care planning meetings, offering nutrition counseling and education to residents and families, and ensuring services comply with applicable local/state/federal regulations. Role requires a valid Virginia RD license, at least one year of relevant experience, and day-shift hours for a PRN assignment (August–November); compensation is $32 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Dietitian license in the state of Virginia
- At least 1 year of experience in long-term care or hospital setting
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
