Registered Dietitian - Part time

Job Summary
Provides nutritional services for the facility’s dialysis patients (in-center and home as applicable), conducts renal nutrition assessments, educates patients and family/caregivers on diet related to kidney disease, develops individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team, calculates diet prescriptions, monitors lab results (e.g., albumin, weight, Kt/V) and adjusts therapy to achieve optimal nutritional status, documents in the medical record per policy, participates in quality improvement activities (QEP/QAI), and collaborates with Case Manager and physicians to coordinate patient education and nutritional care.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian
- Current state licensure if applicable
- Minimum of 1-year professional work experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian
- Demonstrated leadership competencies and skills for the position, including ability to teach, strong organizational skills, excellent communication, customer service, relationship development, results orientation, team building and decision making
